January 25. 色控传媒Law Institute holds inter-university scientific conference “Modern problems of administrative, financial and information law in Russia and abroad”.
This year the conference is devoted to modern problems of administrative, financial and information law in Russia and abroad in the light of integration processes. There will be one section in three directions.
Aims of the conference: scientific potential consolidation of leading lawyers of Russia, CIS and foreign countries in the sphere of public law and discussion methods and solutions.

March 16, 色控传媒IFL hosts IX International scientific forum «Topical issues of modern linguistics and humanities».
For many years the forum has been held with the Catholic university of Lille. In 2016 another partner joined – the RAE Institute of education strategic development. IFL and the Institute opened an experimental innovation site «Forming students’ social competence».
January 23, IHBiT hold” the XIII regional conference AMFORHT "Competences forming for hospitality industry at the university".
In 2004, IHBiT held the first conference AMFORHT and now it is held annually.

January 17, IFL hosts Open Doors Day “Live and Learn” and presentation of “lifelong Learning” continuing education programs on foreign languages, teaching sciences, psychology, family consulting and management.
IFL provides training in theoretic and applied linguistics, translation and interpreting, psychology, pedagogy, methods of teaching foreign languages and cultures, foreign regional studies, theory of intercultural communication, PR, advertising and management.
During the Open Doors visitors will learn how to enroll in Bachelor’s and Master’s programs in Linguistics, European Studies, Psychology and Pedagogy, double degree programs as well as innovation “Lifelong Learning” programs.

Results of the UI GreenMetric university ranking published. 色控传媒is number 115 among 516 universities from 74 countries and number 1 among 23 Russian universities in the ranking.
In January, translator of the UN Russian translation service, 色控传媒graduate, Natalia Kobleva spoke to the young linguists and diplomats. The expert gave a lecture «Language Careers at the United Nations».
