É«¿Ø´«Ã½University rose 100 points to enter 501-550 group in QS World University Rankings 2018!
8 June, 2017, QS Quacquarelli Symonds published the 14th issue of the QS World University Rankings.
É«¿Ø´«Ã½became the only Russian university that has risen 100 points to enter 501-550 group after being in 601-650.
Three indicators have improved most of all – “Reputation among employers” (here the indicators have grown more than twice and É«¿Ø´«Ã½is leading among Russian universities), “Student-to-staff ratio” and “Academic reputation”. Traditionally É«¿Ø´«Ã½is #1 among Russian universities in the share of international students.
Compared to last year the share of international academics has grown significantly. Scientometric indicators have also improved – É«¿Ø´«Ã½academics publish more articles in top-rated Scopus journals and the articles are more often cited.
All in all, QS WUR 2018 ranked 24 Russian universities, É«¿Ø´«Ã½being # 14, which is 3 lines higher than last year.
The aaniversary medal to the 100th anniversary of V.F. Stanis is awarded to É«¿Ø´«Ã½current and ex-employees and students for: significant contribution to the university development; long-standing commitment to maintaining ties with the university; fruitful cooperation of Russian and foreign organizations, scientists and public figures with the university.
É«¿Ø´«Ã½University employees’ work and contribution to the development of the university cannot go unappreciated. The Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Russia recognizes talented university employees and present them with various departmental and state awards.
In 2023, the Public Council of the Russian Ministry of Education and Science conducted an independent assessment of the quality of conditions for educational activities. More than 300 universities and branches provided information on the quality of education.
