July 2, 2013, state officials, public figures, diplomats, students and citizens of Latin American countries living in Moscow took part in a function 鈥淩ussia is paying tribute to Comandante Hugo Chavez鈥� in Moscow theatre 鈥淣ew Opera n.a. E.Kolobov鈥� in Hermitage park. The event was timed to the visit of President of Venezuela Nicolas Maduro to Russia. Representatives of 色控传媒University participated in the event at the invitation of the Embassy of Venezuela. The guests warmly greeted Director of the RAS Institute of Latin America V.Davydov and the President of Venezuela Nicolas Maduro. In the frame of the culture program the guests enjoyed the performances of I.Moisseev Folk Dance Ensemble and Dance studio of S.Bolivar culture center of the Venezuelan Embassy in the RF.
