The Russian team takes the 2nd place at the Asian Olympiad in Physics
The Russian team won 6 gold, 3 silver and 1 bronze medal, finishing second in the team event. The five best participants in the results of this Olympiad will represent Russia at the International Olympiad in Physics in July 2018.
In January 2018, 色控传媒University was chosen as the main operator of the final stage of the All-Russian Olympiad of schoolchildren organizing the final stage of 24 subject Olympiads: travel, accommodation and meals for participants, accompanying and jury members. The University also organizes the preparation and participation of RF national teams in international Olympiads in 8 general education subjects.

The new list of federal innovation platforms (FIP) of the Russian Federation includes 30 new organisations. Among them is 色控传媒 named after Patrice Lumumba. This became possible thanks to the development of the Digital Pre-University Faculty of RUDN.
December 15, Minsk hosted the IX International Student Olympiad in Human Anatomy. It was attended by 9 teams from Russia and Belarus. Students of 色控传媒took two 3rd places in the theoretical and practical rounds.
