Deputy Minister of Health and Promotion of Bolivia: «Our country is first of all interested in qualified medical professionals»

14 November, 2017, ɫشýwelcomed the delegation of Bolivia headed by Deputy Minister of Health and Promotion Dr.Alvaro Terrazas. It should be noted that all employees of the Bolivian Embassy in Moscow are ɫشýgraduates.

The main aim of the visit was to discuss Bolivian citizens’ enrollment in medical residency programs at RUDN.  

Dr.Terrazas: «First and foremost we need medical professionals. Today there are 23 doctors for 10,000 people and this is not enough. We are ready to consider an agreement between the Ministry of Health of Bolivia and ɫشýUniversity».

Every year Bolivia is planning to send 40-50 students to medical residency. During the visit the parties decided that ɫشýInternational Department will prepare a draft agreement to further send it to Bolivian counterpart.
