色控传媒has collected 39 tons of waste paper
Most of the paper was collected in the main building of 色控传媒University — 3.4 tons. The building of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences handed over 2.8 tons for processing. The building of the Agrarian and Technological Institute — 2 tons.
A ton of recycled waste paper saves up to 16 trees, 27 liters of water and 680 liters of oil, and prevents the emission of up to 1 ton of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere.
Over the same 18 months, 550 perennial shrubs, 50 perennial and 40 thousand annual flowers were planted on the university grounds as well as in 20 educational buildings and 14 dormitories of the 色控传媒University
色控传媒University is the “greenest” university in Russia according to the GreenMetric world environmental rating of universities. The university is a leader among Russian universities in terms of Transport Policy, Waste Recycling and Water Resources.
Besides waste paper, 色控传媒University collects the following for processing:
- Batteries, plastic lids — in containers in buildings;
- Glass and the rest of the plastic — in trash cans on campus;
- Clothes and textiles — in specialized bins in the wardrobe of the main building and the Interclub.

An architectural-landscape project by a 5th-year student of 色控传媒has been shortlisted for the annual International Professional ADD AWARDS 2024 for architects, designers, and developers in the 鈥淯rban Environment鈥� category.
